OVERVIEW
This website is operated by Holistic Motherhood based in New Ross, Co. Wexford, Ireland. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Holistic Motherhood owned and operated by Germaine Creevy. Please review the T&C's contained below as there are expectations from you (the client) and your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here. This agreement ensures a positive working relationship between you the client and Holistic Motherhood.
By visiting our site and/ or booking a class, massage appointment, doula interview, and/or communications you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. This policy applies to service users over 18 years of age.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes.
SECTION 1 - ONLINE STORE TERMS
Booking deposits on classes are non-refundable. Outstanding balances for payment for in-person classes are to be paid on arrival the first day. All outstanding balances for online classes must be paid 3 days before the first class.. We do hope that everyone who books a course can attend. Refunds will be given in the unlikely event that Holistic Motherhood needs to cancel a class and also fails to find a replacement teacher. If a client cannot attend a class or set of classes, their deposit/ full payment can be transferred to the next available class or set of classes, where possible. Within 48 hours of a course or class or appointment a full refund is provided with a doctors cert for the absence. Otherwise there is no refund for a cancellation within 48 hours or no-show.
Gift certificates are non-transferrable and do not carry an expiration date. There are no refunds the purchase of a gift certificate. Gift certificates will be accepted for this service while Holistic Motherhood is a trading business.
SECTION 2 - GENERAL CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
If you wish to make an automated payment in order to purchase any goods or services we will require your credit card number and expiry date. Your financial information is used solely for this purpose. Online payments can be accepted by the third party venue Creacon Wellness Retreat, New Ross and in this instance any financial queries can be directed to the venue.
Holistic Motherhood may accept payments online or in-person. Your financial information will be passed directly to a credit card processing company (PayPal and SumUp). We do not have access to your credit card details and no record of your financial information will be held on this site or otherwise by us following the processing of your payment. The credit card processing company does not use, share, retain or store this information for any purpose, other than to process your payment for the above purpose.

SumUp is a fully authorised Payment Institution regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and is a company with limited liability incorporated in England and Wales with its registered number 07836562 and with its registered office at 32 - 34 Great Marlborough St, London W1F 7JB, UK.
You understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.
The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.
SECTION 3 - ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS AND TIMELINESS OF INFORMATION
We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. The material on this site is provided for general information only and should not be considered medical advice or expert advice. We reserve the right to modify the contents of this site at any time, but we have no obligation to update any information on our site. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor changes to our site.
SECTION 4 - MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE AND PRICES
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.
We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
SECTION 5 - SERVICES
Please inquire on availability on the various services described within. Holistic Motherhood makes every reasonable effort to provide the services as described at the dates and times agreed mutually. We strive to provide a professional and high-quality service whether educational and informational, hands on treatments, or doula support. You the client is responsible for providing information in the work relationship which may be relevant. If you are unsure if it is relevant please ask us. We do not take any responsibility for errors or omissions which could have be avoided based on misunderstanding or lack of communication on the part of the client.
Contracts are discussed in detail in the case of birth and postpartum doula and conditions there-in signed and agreed by both Holistic Motherhood and by you the client.
SECTION 6 – Confidentiality
All service users are to be made aware of Holistic Motherhood’s confidentiality policy as soon as is practicable after they first access a service. Refer to Holistic Motherhood’s Privacy Policy for more details.
SECTION 7 - THIRD-PARTY LINKS
Certain content such as PowerPoint presentations, products, services and handouts available via our Service may include materials from third-parties.
Third-party links on this site may direct you to third-party websites that are not affiliated with us. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy and we do not warrant and will not have any liability or responsibility for any third-party materials or websites, or for any other materials, products, or services of third-parties.
Any links provided on this website are for information only. Holistic Motherhood cannot be held responsible for content of a linked website. A link does not imply particular endorsement of a particular site; also, the evasion of a particular link does not imply lack of endorsement of a particular site.
SECTION 8 - USER COMMENTS, FEEDBACK AND OTHER SUBMISSIONS
If, at our request, you send certain specific submissions (for example testimonials) or without a request from us you send baby photos whether online, by email, or otherwise, you agree that we may, at any time, without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate and otherwise use in any medium any comments that you forward to us. We are and shall be under no obligation (1) to maintain any comments in confidence; (2) to pay compensation for any comments; or (3) to respond to any comments.

Every effort has been made to convey information that is accurate, to the best of our knowledge. The text contained in this website is for general information only and should not be used to self-diagnose or taken as medical advice. We recommend that persons contact a medical doctor or Midwife for any individual pregnancy, birth or newborn baby concern. Before undertaking any exercise or massage please consult with your GP, consultant or midwife if your pregnancy is considered high risk. Holistic Motherhood cannot be held liable for any misinterpretation taken from the information contained in this site.

Holistic Motherhood Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from holisticmotherhood.ie (the “Site”). Throughout this Notice, “we”, “us” and “our” refers to Holistic Motherhood. For more information about us, please refer to our website: www.holisticmotherhood.ie.
Holistic Motherhood provides professional services in antenatal education and complementary health care. We are based in New Ross, Co. Wexford, Ireland. In terms of GDPR, we act as a Data Controller. Protecting your personal information is of the utmost importance to us. We treat your privacy seriously and any personal data, which you provide to us will be treated with high standards of security and confidentiality, in accordance with Irish and European Data Protection legislation. This notice sets out details of the information that we collect, how we process it and whom we share it with. It also explains your rights under data protection law in relation to our processing of your data.
PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.” In line with the preferences you have shared with us, we provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION
Confidential information will only be shared with, or accessible to, relevant partners of Holistic Motherhood for the proper care of the person to whom it relates. This is used solely for the purposes of providing the services you have booked. Where consent has been obtained this may include:
- information from referrals from associations, or in-person meetings at events.
- a client’s contact details for the venue booked.
- additional information such as relevant personal health history or current concerns.
- a client’s contact details for availing of a free yearly membership with the parenting to parent support Cuidiú.
- A client’s birth intake booking form and relevant information to a nominated birth or postpartum doula back-up in cases of necessity. Additional consent is sought in these cases such as doula agreements and confidentiality release forms.
- A client’s medical waiver form for massage treatments at the venue outlining that the massage is not intended to diagnose or treat a medical condition.
In cases of an inquiry without engaging services your details will be deleted after 3 months. Holistic Motherhood will never pass any of your personal details on to a third party without your explicit consent.
Confidentiality can never be absolute and therefore absolute confidentiality can never be guaranteed. Limits to confidentiality exist to protect personnel from withholding information that may require immediate action in the interest of public or individual safety. As example, where there is a legal obligation to provide information to a third party under Irish Law such as Section 8 of the Data Protection Act, 1988. We follow the guidelines and reporting procedure as set out in Children First: National Guidance for the Protection and Welfare of Children (Dept. of Children and Youth Affairs, 2011).
In cases where information is recorded as part of the service provided.
- Paper files should be kept in a locked filing cabinet or drawer, with the key held only by Holistic Motherhood.
- Computer files should be password protected with the password held only by personnel involved in relevant service provision. Booking forms as required from the client over Google Docs are considered password protected and are utilised by Holistic Motherhood.
A client has the right to have a copy of all information held by Holistic Motherhood concerning them, and that if they want a copy of same, they will need to request this in writing. The Data Protection Acts allows us to process your data because you have provided your explicit consent. You are entitled to withdraw your consent at any time. If you do withdraw your consent, Holistic Motherhood will no longer process your personal data and will take steps to delete all reference to your data securely. All personal information will be deleted or securely destroyed 7 years after you cease being a client of Holistic Motherhood.
Holistic Motherhood uses a number of DPOs that process personal data on our behalf. These include (but not limited to) Strikingly, Google, Paypal, SumUp, Mailchimp and Eventbrite. We have satisfied ourselves that these DPOs are GDPR compliant, that they will take measures to keep your personal data safe and they will process your information in accordance with Irish and EU law. However, the nature of the internet is such that we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us via the Internet will be 100% secure.
PROTECTING CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Even though our website is not designed for use by anyone under the age of 16, we realize that a child under the age of 16 may attempt to access our website. We do not knowingly collect PD from children under the age of 16. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child is using our website, please contact us. Before we remove any information, we may ask for proof of identification to prevent malicious removal of account information. If we discover that a child is accessing our website, we will delete his/her information within a reasonable period of time. You acknowledge that we do not verify the age of our users nor do we have any liability to do so.
YOUR RIGHTS
You have various rights under data protection law, subject to certain exemptions, in connection with our processing of your personal data, including the right to withdraw your consent to processing your data or to using your information to send you communications from Holistic Motherhood.
